Electroacoustic properties of various types of quartz in the finely dispersed state

An electroacoustic echo method for studying the high-frequency (HF) electrical and elastic properties of piezoelectric materials in a finely dispersed state is described. The characteristics relaxation time natural artificial quartz powders are determined. Natural one represented by following types: smoky quartz, citrine, amethyst, recrystallized, granular columnar. It shown that (especially citrine), has higher electromechanical coupling coefficient than quartz. amplitudes HF electric field determined, at which saturation mode signals observed.
